Ashok K. Krishnamurthy, Ph.D

Dr. Krishnamurthy is the Ohio Supercomputer Center’s Interim Co-Executive Director. He also serves as Senior Director of Research and is an associate professor in The Ohio State University (OSU) Electrical and Computer Engineering department. Over the past 8 years, a focus of his work has been on broadening the community using supercomputing, both from academia and industry. Key accomplishments in this area include OSC’s Blue Collar Computing program, and DISC services for data intensive computing.  Krishnamurthy’s  research is in signal/image processing, high performance computing applications, and computational models of hearing. . He earned his bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology and his master’s and doctorate degrees in electrical engineering at the University of Florida.
